I lost the indicator light on my Main Solenoid switch for the generator. Can this bulb be replaced?...if so, does anyone know how to disassemble and a source for the bulb ?

Thanks

Does the wiring diagram indicate the switch manufacturer and part number?

Switches on mine are from Carling, and I'm sure they'd be able to either supply the part and instruction, or replacement switch. There are a couple sites that stock replacement switches, otherwise may be a dealer or custom order. http://www.carlingtech.com/products

One option is to replace the whole switch. Flounder Pounder (Sea Ray Parts) has them with lamps or LEDs. They are double pole (on)-off-(on) with isolated indicator lamp/LED. Flounder Pounder # VLDA-2 with green LED or VLD1-3 with clear lamp.

If you're brave enough you can disassemble and replace the bulb. The switch snaps apart/together so its not too hard to do. The bulbs are typically 12v @ 80ma with solid wire leads. I've slowly been replacing mine with 12v LEDs (LEDs with built in dropping resistors.)
