Solar Battery Trickle Charger

Has anyone ever used one of these Sunforce 50022 5-Watt Solar Battery Trickle Charger to maintain the battery?

I am getting a new 185 Sea Ray and will keep it in a slip without power and was wondering if these things work.

That looks like the one I use on a pickup truck that gets little use. We plug it into the cigarette lighter and place it on the dashboard. Works great to maintain the battery! Otherwise, every month or so we'd go to use it and the battery would be dead. Have been using it for well over a year or two and the truck will start right up. (Well except for a week or so when some punk stole it from the unlocked truck).

Well, it's cheap enough to try. I'll build a little clamp on holder so I can put it on the Bimini tubes and point it south during the week.
