Just a question. I’ve looked at many boats this year. Most of them true Sea Rays and a few Brunswick.

over priced and under maintained seems to be the order of the year. I’m still kicking myself for not trying to find the money for Frank’s boat.

What ever happened to the Weekender line, did it just get folded into the Express line?

The Express cruisers seemed to have blended together with the weekenders and then blended into the Amberjacks. I think the last weekenders where in 94 and they became Express Cruisers. The Express cruisers died off in 01 and then there where the Amberjacks that survived until the mid 2000's then all we had where Sundancers. If the boats didn't sell in Florida they quit building them. I never understood this because they where never known to be an off shore brand. They where always a Lake boat so I feel they should have stayed in that market and not worry about what happens in florida, maybe they would still be making Sport Yachts and Yachts and maybe even Weekenders, Express Cruisers, and Amberjacks.

Sure the Express crusiers and amberjacks tried to compete with the Tiara's, pursuits and other fishing icons. Even Tiara moved more toward floating condos and let pursuit deal with fishing.
