So what do we like, similar to Seadek flooring

My buddy showed me this: https://infinitylwv.com/pages/flooring-collection
He has a center console and primarily uses the boat for off shore fishing. It get loddy and fish gutty to an extent, most here would be horrified. He swears by it. It hoses off easily never stains, never get hot from the sun and offers nice cushioning underfoot. It's about 1/2 the price of sea dek and similar surfaces. Available as snap in or adhesive bond. There are other companies in this type of material. Has anyone looked into this?
Yes Corinthian offers a similar product to Infinity and is a sponsor here on CSR. I was going to use SeaDek but they didn’t have the full templates for our 450 EB, so I used the SeaDek templates of the cockpit and swim platform and made my own templates of the flybridge and sent them to Corinthian to complete. The product holds up really well and is removable, held in with either traditional snaps or their Velcro locks. Below is the diagram I sent them with the templates. With the discount I paid approximately $2,800.

I also went with our sponsor and it came out better then I could have expected. I made my own template and got back exactly what I ordered. My cockpit has a step down, so the upper parts are in teak like carpet and the lower is what @Shoyrtt has. I have had this seven years and still looks great. The only spot starting to show wear is were the center hatch is and gets folded up with the hatch. That is starting to look wrinkled, also both colors are way too hot to stand on when in direct sun light and must be sprayed down with water, then it foams up when you stand on it. That is the only down side to this carpet. Cigar ashes, drinks won't stain the carpet and is totally washable and looks brand new again.

I am thinking of doing the lower part in SeaDeck to look like teak as well. There are width limitations with patterned carpets and I didn't want seams for no reason so I had to go with a sea grass on the lower cockpit.

I went with flex dek from snapincarpet because they had a swim platform template for the 300

Very familiar with it. Sea Ray has been using it for a number of years now, as are others. Pontoons use it, too. However, I'm not sure why your buddy says it doesn't get hot - it does. It can get hotter than SeaDek-style products. Think of it as vinyl carpet. Nice stuff, though - it all comes down to what you want and what's important to you. It's available in lot's of colors and patterns.
I think he mesnt not "Bare-Feet " hot like Trex Decking gets.

Nope, that stuff get's way too hot for bare feet. Both infinity and Corinthian, I have the Corinthian and it needs to be sprayed down with water to be able to walk on with bare feet.

@SKybolt Check to see if the tag on the bottom side of your hatch piece is still there. If so it should have a part/piece number. Corinthian can reproduce the hatch piece with that number if you want.
I agree the woven vinyl can get hot in the summer. Like you, I spray down the swim platform or just wear my flip flops on the cockpit flooring in the heat.

I just had AquaTraction installed on The Office (440 CV) last Sat. Time will tell...

Teak and SS is the next order of biz, last owner put cheap varnish (lipstick) on it....

As far as I'm concerned, SeaDek is the ultimate. As an old buddy used to say, did you buy a boat to save money? Maybe there are truly cheaper brands, but are they better?

SD had plans to fit many boats, or you can custom make a plan. If you are buying a new boat, having it factory installed is the best approach.

I bought my first boat in 1968. Our 2019 model has SeaDek and its the best option I ever had in 51 years. No question what our next boat will have. No sense in experimenting....

I was quoted $4k for our upper and lower swimstep's, so I went with China/eBay, 3+ years in and it still looks okay, but starting to delaminate in a few spots. We got rid of the berber carpet last year in the cockpit and helm and are loving Corinthian infinity woven vinyl, so I'll be sending a pattern to them for the swimstep's for the same product.

Infinity is really hot in the sun. Maybe not the best choice for a swim step.

I have had Infinity for 5 or so years. Yes it’s a little hot, but when it’s wet it’s fine. Most of the time it’s wet anyway going in and out of the boat. It dries good also. Love it though. Got all my stuff through Dave. A pleasure to work with, great prices and fast turn around. Best part is you can change it without all the glue mess. And if you ruin it somehow, it could be replaced easy.

Full Marine Mat job on my 320. I have a buddy thats a dealer so it was an easy choice for me. He steered me away from snapping it down tho, mine is all stuck. Snap down gets stuff under it and you have to scrub the deck when you pull them out anyways. I scrub mine and rinse it right out the back. Really happy with it

What color Marine Mat did you have installed? Looks fantastic. I just stumbled across their website.
How was their Pricing? I'm on Lake St. Clair as well and would like a referral name if you have one?
Thanks

Having had many boats where I have had to do on the water as well as at the dock engine compartment fixes I finally removed the exterior carpets, for good. They were always dirty, wet, smelly, etc. and I really saw no value in them.

I am curious what others think.

I love the Corinthian AquaMat/AquaWeave with the AquaLock backing. It is a PVC woven product. So much better than the old style berber. Water drains through it and it dries very quickly. I do not want it in the cabin, but love it in the cockpit. I also like the AquaTrac on the swim platform. The Corinthian gets warm in the sun, but I leave the top portion of the camper top up all year and it shades it well for the most part. The AquaTrac never gets hot.

My 44DA had carpet when we surveyed it. We aske owner/yard to remove it as part of the work to be done. When we arrived for pickup they were still cleaning the boat and the carpets were on the dock and just washed. I told them sorry they wasted their time and I hauled them to the dumpster 10 yards away.

I prefer the bare non-skid.

Current boat came with the Aquatraction - so far so good, but I wouldn't have paid for it unless the non skid was in horrible condition.

We had Marideck in many boats. Indestructible, easy to clean, dries instantly, etc. But it was hot and uncomfortable on bare feet.

We now have SeaDek. As someone else said, its the ultimate. But ours is snap-in, so no worries about getting it dirty.

We went with Corinthian, mention CSR, and enjoy a 15% discount.

For me, it's not necessarily about the material in this case, it's about the install.

To get a nice install (and I mean NICE), it needs to be laser surveyed or templated and then cut using a CNC router. I have never found a self install that looks remotely close to someone with the proper tools for this type of job. Pay someone that offers a warranty on their materials and install and suck it up. You'll likely never have to worry about it again.

The admiral and I did the template for the cockpit flooring-Corinthian and took the template and dry fit it before sending it to Corinthian and it came out perfect. I like it "wall to wall" so to speak with no gaps around the edges. The AquaTrac was done as you say with a laser and cut with a CNC router. It is also perfect.
