So, lets talk weather....

Wednesday, heavy snow. Friday, driving rain. Today, mid-fifties and spent the afternoon working in the yard. Welcome to Idaho. Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes; it'll change.
Hey... That's what the Michiganders say....

I really miss the rinse and repeat of Florida. Sun in the morning, thunderstorm sometime in the afternoon followed by more sun.

We're still a couple weeks from boating although there's been a couple fishermen on the open river sections recently.

Yep the snowpack is deep (about 3 humans tall - aka 15 feet) at Donner Pass near Lake Tahoe @ucb_cssl The season total snowfall is 52 feet. The students weren't working like this, just giving a perspective of the snow depth

Last Thursday it was 85. I took the boat out for the first time this year. Tomorrow it is supposed to get down to 28. I know that I am paranoid, but I am going today and drain the water out of it. It only takes a couple of minutes and I sleep better. It was worse hearing my wife telling me that I should haven't have taken the boat out.

Boy I guess I should STFU about Charlotte, I’m in shorts and a comfortable pull over, is supposed to get below freezing next three days but the highs are almost 60’s. Went to the boat today and set the AC/Heat to 60. Think I’ll go down tomorrow and clean some more.

Looks like Minnesota and Wisconsin are going to get a bunch more in a day or two. March is colder than February for us in Michigan and we've already gotten more snow than any other month this winter and only half the month is over.
Yup - Thursday through Friday we get another round. It’s never going to stop

At our local ski resort (Bogus Basin), average snow base depth for this time of year is 59 inches. We're only half-way through the month and here's where we are:

Average annual total snowfall is 143 inches. 253 inches, and we're not done yet!

Mores Creek Summit snow depth is the real barometer to the summer's water level in the area reservoirs. As of this afternoon, we're at 150% of average! I guess I can suffer a bit longer with the cooler, rainy weather.
