This land yacht is the biggest reason I don't post as much here in this forum. I have been very busy fixing and upgrading this:

More Fiberglass for me. Here's my '63 Sting Ray. I don't get to drive her much with three young kids and the boat, but when I do it sure makes me smile.
I have to admit I am a bit envious of some of these cars. I enjoy our old Lexus's and the Volvo and like to keep them looking nice, but they are pretty boring. One car that I have not seen here and would love to have one day is a BMW 2002 tii - in the day I was a BMW/Porsche guy, had an '85 325 and a Porsche 914 (poor mans Porsche) and loved them. New wife could not drive a stick, kids and a house came, private school and college tuition - so here we are driving a 10yr Lexus. But soon I hope my hobbies come back to the front of the line. A new(er) SeaRay and an old classic car would do nicely.
Don't feel bad about a 10 year old Lexus. My wife has an RX350 that never needs anything. Most reliable car in our rag tag collection.
Seems like we wind up having one of these car threads every winter (I wonder why.......). So, here's a couple shots of my 67 fastback. Under the hood lies a 572 hp 418 cubic inch Windsor with AFR CNC heads, solid roller valvetrain, stud girdle, and a laundry list of other goodies. Trans is a built and heavily modified T-56, feeding a Mark Williams driveshaft and 35 spline Strange 9 inch fitted with a locker. She's covered in dust in the 1st pic, but I'm pretty busy in the shop.....

It seems tricked out Jeeps is the new big thing for the ladies. I see it everywhere. Some of them are spectacular looking although I don't many see any dirt. Used to be it was SUV's but I think those became less and less rugged and more and more minivan like and lost their appeal.

This is "her" first Jeep but we have had 13 Jeeps over the past 18 years. I agree that there are a lot of tricked out Jeeps that never see the dirt. I struggled with this when I bought it for her knowing she mostly uses it as a commuter. She looks damn good in a bikini sitting in it on the beach though.
