So let's hear about and see your cars.

This land yacht is the biggest reason I don't post as much here in this forum. I have been very busy fixing and upgrading this:

Nice. '69 XR-7 it looks like. Love them, especially at car shows flooded with Mustangs. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Mustang lover and former owner, but obviously there's a huge difference in production numbers. 351, 390 or 428?

More Fiberglass for me. Here's my '63 Sting Ray. I don't get to drive her much with three young kids and the boat, but when I do it sure makes me smile.

I have to admit I am a bit envious of some of these cars. I enjoy our old Lexus's and the Volvo and like to keep them looking nice, but they are pretty boring. One car that I have not seen here and would love to have one day is a BMW 2002 tii - in the day I was a BMW/Porsche guy, had an '85 325 and a Porsche 914 (poor mans Porsche) and loved them. New wife could not drive a stick, kids and a house came, private school and college tuition - so here we are driving a 10yr Lexus. But soon I hope my hobbies come back to the front of the line. A new(er) SeaRay and an old classic car would do nicely.

I've worked on a few tii's over the years, but man, if you ever need to service that KF injection pump, good luck. I think if I was ever to do a 2002, I'd go the restomod route. Maybe with an M42 4 cylinder backed with a 5-spd, E30 brakes, updated suspension, etc. This was my last E30 (and my 4 Winns that I'm selling in Spring). Bought it from the original owner last year. Did a bunch of updates. Came damn close to keeping it, but got an offer I couldn't refuse.

Don't feel bad about a 10 year old Lexus. My wife has an RX350 that never needs anything. Most reliable car in our rag tag collection.

Yeah, have to say that although not exciting, my '05 ES330 with 145k miles stills drives as smooth and quiet as when new - and other than scheduled maintenance, tires and brakes I have not spent a dime on any unexpected repair. Same with the wife's '06 RX330. The '01 Volvo S60 still looks and drives like new at 140k, but it has not been without some $$ care and feeding. I'm glad good car's and SeaRay boats age gracefully for now!

Currently in the stable is my wife's lifted 2016 Wrangler (her birthday present this year) and my Chevy 4x4 Z71 LTZ Silverado (which I hate) and my trusty Impala 9C1 work car.

Prior to the Silverado I had an Expedition EL (loved that SUV) with 250K on it but the hurricane took care of that for me.

I've had a my share though over the years to include an E Class AMG Mercedes, a 3000GT and this fun toy hauler -

It seems tricked out Jeeps is the new big thing for the ladies. I see it everywhere. Some of them are spectacular looking although I don't think many see any dirt. Used to be it was SUV's but I think those became less and less rugged and more and more minivan like and lost their appeal.

Seems like we wind up having one of these car threads every winter (I wonder why.......). So, here's a couple shots of my 67 fastback. Under the hood lies a 572 hp 418 cubic inch Windsor with AFR CNC heads, solid roller valvetrain, stud girdle, and a laundry list of other goodies. Trans is a built and heavily modified T-56, feeding a Mark Williams driveshaft and 35 spline Strange 9 inch fitted with a locker. She's covered in dust in the 1st pic, but I'm pretty busy in the shop.....

Love this thread.

This is "her" first Jeep but we have had 13 Jeeps over the past 18 years. I agree that there are a lot of tricked out Jeeps that never see the dirt. I struggled with this when I bought it for her knowing she mostly uses it as a commuter. She looks damn good in a bikini sitting in it on the beach though.

Great thread guys, love the cars! Here's some pics of my land toys.

This Z/28 is my first car that I bought in 1980 when I was a Senior in high school. Still have it and trying to find time to finish the restoration.

My wife's Corvette. Since the picture was taken I removed the fake Z06 brake vents and installed real ones.

Traded this in a few months ago but it was a great car.

Bought this to replace the BMW. I kind of fell for the 19" wheels and wide tires.

This used to be our daily driver but now I keep it at my house in Florida so we have something to drive when we fly down. Love this Yukon.

Sorry about the upside down ones. Don't know how to fix that. Mark

There's absolutely nothing wrong with not taking it mudding or rock-climbing. It's all about what you like. I can say categorically I like women in bikini's driving ANYTHING! :)
