So let's hear about and see your cars.

It's no airplane - but it's faster than one....

That Aventador is spectacular. Love the colors.

At one point not too long ago, I owned two '88 Porsches. Both sold. And I'm sad they're gone.

Pretty sure the slicks did in the transmission though :)

And honestly, when my customers get to the point where they're tired of putting money into their Euros, I suggest Honda/Acura for a reason. They just go.

They really are great cars out of the box. Throw a tune at it (GIAC is my preferred tuner), and it seriously wakes up.

I would love to find a person who could do something similar to that on the 6.2's in Saint Max. I don't want the speed. I would like to be able to system match the engines and props to allow me to cruise at a lower RPM to lower noise and vibration. Until the market demands what is available as a ready option, this is the only workaround that crosses my mind.

My daily - 2010 Ford G6E Turbo.

Locally designed and built car and motor - basically 4 litre in line 6 with Garret GT35 turbo with ZF 6 speed. Owners are getting high 12's at the local strip in stock factory form/stock tyres.

You guys get all the good stuff down there.

The 5 litre V8 powered Falcons were crackers too with a supercharger from the factory to create the Miami motor.

Sadly, Ford Australia ceased manufacturing cars in this country about a month ago due to the "globalisation" push by manufacturers. The last of the Falcons pre-sold like hot cakes and commanded premiums. However, the classic will always be the 1971 Phase 3 Falcon GTHO which was the fastest 4 door car in the world at the time. They command houses prices these days - http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-new...s-to-reach-half-million-mark-at-auction-41234

As an enthusiast I do prefer the S15 to drive but the Falcon is an effortless cruiser and a wolf in sheep's clothing. My brother has a twin turbo LS2 powered Commodore which is also a bit of fun.

This is my garage. Under cover outside is a Maserati Gransport Spyder. That’s a Ferrari 360 Spyder in the lift bay, behind the 328. Barely-shown in the front corner is a Mercedes AMG CLS.

I'd be feeling pretty cool right about now, but these pics were taken before I took possession of the house, and none of theses vehicles were included in the sale.

I negotiated for the lift and got within $200 of an agreement when I decided that I couldn't give the PO a dime more than I had to. (it occasionally rains in the living room) If only he had cared for the house like he did his cars...

I had the garage floor ground and coated. It is now home to my fleet, including this 2001 Club Car DS with a normally-aspirated Kawasaki FE290 producing a whopping 9HP at an un-governed 3,800 RPM and spinning machine-honed clutches for a top speed of 22 mph. This probably doesn't impress the CSR Porsche owners, but trust me, drivers of rental golf carts on the streets of Put-In Bay, South Bass Island fear and loathe me.

My pride-and-joy (on wheels) is my 2003 Nissan 350Z. I ordered her before the dealers had even seen one. I can't imagine ever parting with her.

The daily mules are a Fusion Hybrid and a Grand Cherokee. They're good, practical vehicles, but I've never had the urge to take a picture of them.

That's funny!

Big Z car fan. Had 4 of them over time.

snip......

Ok, that's a funny post right there. FWIW, I'm not a fan of the wheels on the 328, which I don't feel bad about saying now :)

And damn, Put In Bay. I do love that place. Sort of came across it by accident 4 years ago when my wife and I were in town for a Cedar Point visit, and NHRA event at Norwalk. Anyway, long story short, it was the hottest weekend of the year there, so we ducked out of the park early one Saturday. Started looking around for things to do. Hit up a restaurant in "downtown" Sandusky was actually shockingly good. Then saw the ferry. Wondered about the ferry, said the hell with it, and jumped on. Rented a cart when we got to PIB, and explored the island and bars. Great time had for sure.

Jokes on me RollerCoastr . None of the pix came across my desktop. I felt like I was looking at an old Jackie Vernon routine where he was showing slides of his vacation with nothing but a spotlight on the wall and a kids toy that made a clicking sound to change the slides.

I almost peed myself.

Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are!!!!!!

I probably shouldn't admit this and jeopardize my rep as a mature and stable guy, but sometimes I drive around the island looking for carts to pass. The best ones are full of bored teens who yell "not fair" as I pass them. If traffic is light and there's few people in front of me to pass, I'll do a subtle u-turn when people go by the in the other direction so I can catch up and pass them. (well I'm stable at least - I may have to let go of "mature")

bracketracer - those wheels look no better in person than they do in pics. As a former kid who NEVER missed an episode of Magnum PI, I take offense to Ferraris with ugly wheels.

I'd imagine the electrics get the hole shot up to about 10mph, then it's all over. Yeah, I have no doubt if I lived there, I'd build something kinda silly for the same reasons.

The first picture is my car......Oh I mean the second one WAS my car and the first one replaced my car:smt089. I'll have another one day. I'm only 45..

I may have entered a few illegal speed contests back when I lived in Knoxville and had a Fox Body Mustang :)

On the subject of odd vehicles going fast, I'll go back about 16 years. My first time on the Bonneville Salt Flats in said Mustang. They did barstool racing there. Lots of rules, but the main one is that they're powered by a single battery. Record stands at over 50mph.

Old pic when I was out there.

Post of the year. Nicely done.
