So let's hear about and see your cars.

Very happy with it, of course is not a sedan. Bouncy ride....but I guess is her personality. Like the fit and finishes, feels very solid, and nice engine sound.

New one now coming up 2019, supposed to be more refined in the interior and couple inches longer.

I know several who have left Range Rover for one and they never looked back. Always wanted to own one!

Quick recent pickup. With most of the cars I buy, this was a case of right time, right situation, and a seller who just didn't want to deal with the repair. 2010 Audi S4 Premium Plus, 6-spd manual, 105k miles. Needed a transmission due to a failed differential (odd). $3k was the buy number. I should flip it, but we'll see how I like it after replacing the gearbox, and other odds and ends it needs.

Wife picked this up in Spring. I did a few mods to it. Full AWE exhaust, CTS intake, GIAC flash. Goes pretty good now, but soon to get larger crank and smaller supercharger pulley, upgraded supercharger cooling, and a pair of downpipes.

They're a lot of fun when they're right side up ;-)

Keep an ear out for cold start timing chain rattles though

Great thread!

Geez, I belong to so many forums that have “car” side-threads that I hope I did not already post in this thread (if I have I’ll be embarrassed as you-know-what!)

Mine ... (‘73 Challenger with a 440 Magnum out of a ‘70 Roadrunner; NOTHING original to the car ‘cept the 4-speed with pistol grip shifter - runs like a scalded cat and never overheats)

Annnnd, The Admirals ... (‘66 Pontiac GTO she bought from the original owner —- with 27,000 miles on it!!!!L freaking ALL ORIGINAL a true survivor and I tell her every time she walks past a mirror she should check if she can see the horseshoe sticking out her back, um, pocket!):

Damn. Love the color and Cragar SSs on the Challenger. Which induction on the Goat? Single 4bbl?

Holy crap, that car is no joke. I've modded a few, and they're stupid fast, even stock.

My most recent pickup. 07 335i convertible, Monaco Blue over Lava Red. 3L twin turbo, some mods, doing about 430hp. Needs a few things. Will work on it over the winter, drive it a bit in spring, and sell it.

Thanks, the original color on the Chally was “Gun Metal Gray” which is actually my favorite but, when I came upon her in the Car Corral at Carlisle, PA in that shade green, I wasn’t carin,’ LOL!

Wifey’s “Babycakes” is 389 Tri-Power. The tri-power carbs were never installed by the factory but rather, shipped in the trunk and installed once the car got to the ordering dealer. Thing of it is, when Mr. Roberts (original owner) ordered the car in the last quarter of 1965, he did NOT order the tri-power. What happened was, when he went to pick his car up from the dealer in the Spring of 1966 the dealer advised him another customer whose car HAD arrived with a tri-Power carb in the trunk declined (guess they changed their mind, decided the car was to be more of a family car, who knows). Anyway, the dealer said, “That tri-power carb is in the back, on the shelf - any chance you want it?” Mr. Roberts said, “Sure!” and the rest, as they say, is history!

Love those stories. Did you convert to mechanical linkage for the end carbs?

1970 Olds W31. Bought from the original owner in 1988 with 51,000 miles on it. Still had the original clutch and exhaust. Restored the whole car.

1969 Malibu (built as a COPO replica and was an IHRA A-Stock national record holder in the mid to late 70's. I bought this about 1992 just a body and frame and had it at the track 3 weeks later running 12.96 with a stock 454. Swapped that out for a beefier 454 and ran 11.69. Car had 17,000 miles on it almost all of that was 1/4 mile at a time)

'57 Chevy 210 with a California (boxed) frame. Mini tubs and 10" tires. Ran 11.17 with a blown 350 before I bought it. I built a 393 SBC (destroked 406) with splayed caps, 6" Oliver rods, Ross pistons, Hank the Crank crank, Summers Bros. gear drive and AFR aluminum heads. Dynoed at 552HP at 6500RPM on pump gas 10.7:1. I never took it to the track. Just a nice weekend cruiser. Sold it in 2003.

well Sold the Cammed C7, and picked up a C6 Z06 again..

427 stage 2 heads, cam, Procharger blower with boost referenced meth system... making 750 to the wheels... its a lot of fun for a Daily.
