We trailered our boat down for a week and were able to get to Sand Key Lighthouse about 7 miles out. Water temp was 82 ish. Here is a short video

I'm really tempted to call you mean and nasty names out of jealousy, but I'll be bigger than than that and just say "very nice"!!

Awsome camera. Thats not a go pro is it? If so which one. I dove the vandenburg of the coast of key west and it was amazing. My favorite dive I ever did.

Who did you dive the Vandenburg with?

To be honest with u I have no idea. We walked into the first dive store we walked past. It was right across from the Marriott I believe. We walked in with our gear hiered a private guid because neither of us are advanced open water and down we went within a couple hours. Tomorrow ill search for my log book and get the name. We went down the elev shaft to the sand 130 ft down and drifted aft to the wheels then worked our way up top threw the galley to the wheel house to the dish and to surface. Absolutely phenomenal.

My long time friend, Randy, is a dive master and instructor in Key West. He is a minor celebrity in KW because he found the "Piece of Eight" that was hidden on the Vandenburg by Mel Fisher Museum...

6 years from now we can move anywhere we want , I think I found one for the list. We love KEY WEST thanks for sharing

My buddy who already lives in KW gets upset with all the boaters who come down there and anchor off shore and only come in with their dinks and never pay any taxes.... I cannot wait until I retire and spend some time down there... LOL!

Besides my 2-3 weeks I spend in Aruba every feb key west is by far my favorite destination. My dream is to own a small beach bungalow with a dock or a big enough live aboard and spend my retired winters down there. But that's about 30 years away so plenty of time to achieve that
