Smokers and boating.....

You guys are killing me with that attitude.

Theres alot more chemicals out there that does more harm than good in our food supplies & waterways. :wow:

And you guys are bit*hening about the smell of a cigarette. :smt021

Yes by all means have a smoke , but please throw your seeds over board.

What a "Nothing" thread this is becoming? As far as I know it is YOUR home, car, boat, airplane, dog, horse, frog, gerbil, filing cabinet etc...so if YOU wish to smoke or let guests smoke, then fire away, but if you want to come on MY boat, MY home, MY car, MY etc, then you are not going to smoke.

And for anyone's edification, there is nothing about being "uptight" with this, just ones personal preferences, regarding their situations and personal moore's.

So if YOU smoke YOU do your thing and I will do mine.

Personally, the smell of a cigarette makes me sick. I get headaches from it, and the smoke smell (such as in a hotel room) lingers so long that any place that has been smoked in quickly becomes unbearable. I will not own a vehicle or boat that has been smoked in, nor a home. I don't understand the allure of smoking, both of my parents smoked, but I never have, and never had the desire. I have seen first hand how addictive it is, and also have seen the health effects of it up to and including death from cancer.

To be blunt, the smoke stinks, there is nothing pleasurable about it. If someone walks in a building after smoking, the stench is horrible, worse than body oder. While I don't disagree that a person has a right to smoke if they want, just please don't do it near me, and in return I'll refrain from farting and picking my nose near you.
I was with ya til you got to no farting part! Can't always control that:smt043
