The Dieselview drives the gauges. If neither the Dieselview nor gauges work then probably a systemic issue with the harnessing or connectors or a failure within the Dieselview unit (but unlikely). First swap the CAN 1 resistors (yellow capped connectors on the helm J-boxes and see if the problem follows to the other side. Then swap the CAN 123 resistors on the engine harness (yellow capped connectors on the engine harness' and also see if the problem follows. If the problem follows a resistor swap then a defective resistor. If the resistors are ok then swap the port and starboard engine main cables (circled in the below diagram) coming into the helm at the J-boxes; they should be the large yellow cables that terminate into two J-boxes under the helm. If the gauge problem follows that swap then the issue obviously exists between the engines and the end of that yellow cable. If the issue does not follow then the issue is between the J-boxes, Dieselview, and gauges.

First I must apologize for being 4 years late to the party!
Where did you get that "main station configuration" schematic? I looked thru my searay manual several times and could not find. I also looked on Cummins quick serve but not in depth.
This whole subject of how to replace Diesel View when its time comes is fascinating and very scary.
My problem which surfaced at pre purchase sea trial is not getting starboard engine transmission pressure. This was noted by cummins tech using "Insite" and tran pressure reading 0 on smartcraft DV. All other data was present for both engines. Insite and DV.
I used wd40 on pressure transducer connector and still 0. Switched pressure transducer between port and starboard eng. Starboard still read 0.
I will try your suggestion to look for 5 volts at transducer connector. I will diligently trace (to degree I can see it) wires back from pressure transducer to eng. It appears there is a small connector before eng. Not sure what to do after this.
