Smartcraft wiring harness

I am adding a steering sensor to my 2005 320 dancer w/ 350 MAG and V Drive inboards. the directions are very unclear as to where the smartcraft wiring harness is in the engine compartment. I have looked, but to no avail as to where I can plug the sensor into? Help!
