I have a 2003 340 SDA with the SC5000 Smartcraft and the seawater temperaure reading is way too high. For example it will read 130 degrees when the actual surface water temperature is 85 degrees. Does anyone know where the sensor is located?

Have you tried calibrating the seatemp display?

I will attempt to get into the Smartcraft program and see if it can be recalibrated but the temperature display worked fine for over 4 years then started acting up overnight. I didn't think that recalibration could correct a 50 degree differential but it is worth a try.
