I recently purchased a 2006 290 Sundancer with twin 4.3L MPI BIII's. I have been checking the electronics and updating things like the firmware on the Raymarine C70 and it seems everything is still set with 2006 software versions, so here is my question. Does the SmartCraft have software that needs to be updated? I am reading the 290 owners manual and ran across the SmartCraft section and it used the phrase "software version" which leads me to believe that it is something that can or might need to be updated. I will check this weekend to see what version is displayed.
