Smartcraft gauge settings-what happens in storage?

This my first year using the Smartcraft gauges. I have set them up with my preferences. What happens when I disconnect the batteries for the winter? Will they remember by settings when I reconnect the batteries in the spring or do I have to setup everything again (I sure hope not)?
