Here's the set up....
My wife and I left the 3 kids home for a nice relaxing weekend on the boat....Smartcrafts alarm sucked a lot of that relaxing out of the weekend...:smt013.. It seems that my Smartcraft alarm might be stuck on stupid...at least that is the way I felt by the end of the trip
The alarm goes off (2 beeps every few minutes), but there is no fault shown on the screen. After doing a master reset the starboard engine the alarm continues and now shows "fault starboard fuel tank" Our '04 280 sundancer (4.3's with Alpha 1's) does not have a starboard fuel tank. The single tank is monitored through the port gauges. Here are a few other details....

- When you switch the starboard ignition to the run position, where the alarm usually sounds once, it is now followed by a second beep - even before you start the engine.
- All of the fluids are within normal ranges and the engine feels right to the touch when at operating speed.
- Two weeks ago, the starboard engine quit when idling...I thought the IAC was going bad, but the engine started right back up and has run fine since. Does Smartcraft monitor the IAC???
- Does anyone know the proper procedure for doing a master reset on a twin engine system. Reset both engine systems then reset the center (main??) Does it matter what order you reset the gauges??
