Smart Craft Question

On my 2005 SD I typically have the smart craft set to display either water depth or sea water temp. I've noticed lately when making throttle changes the screen switches on its own to trim position temporarily and then usually to oil pressure. Each successive throttle change brings the display back to trim position for a few seconds.

I briefly checked the wires coming out of the back of the throttle assembly and they appeared to be secure.

Any thoughts??

Get your Smartcraft manual out or download one. There you will find instructions on the various screens, how to calibrate certain screens, etc. You want to disable the "Trim Pop Up" screen. With it enabled, it will pop up everytime the trim changes even a only a tiny bit.
