I have noticed a small oil leak. It has maybe leaked a tablespoon this year. I have attached a link that shows the diagram. On the link, you will see the part numbers 5 and 6. It is one of these hoses that is leaking. From the numbers (5 and 6) if you move left about 3 inches, there is a fitting. That fitting is where the leak is. It appears that the fitting cannot be tightened, because there are not any edges for a wrench to fit. Does anyone know if this fitting can be tightened? If the entire hose need to be replaced has anyone done this? And how involved is the replacement of the hose? If it needs to be replaced, a good time would be in the fall, when I change the oil and have the filter off. Thanks for the input. Here is the diagram ( I hope this link works).......

If you're talking about where the oil line attaches to the filter bracket, the fitting can be snugged into the bracket tighter. But, the fitting itself is not "adjustable". Although, I guess you could try playing around with the internal flare fitting...

If you're talking about the fitting where the line transitions from hard to rubber, that is a crimp - not adjustable. Basically, if any part of the actual line is leaking, you must replace the whole thing. Difficulty of replacement will depend on how easy you can get to the rear/port side of your engine block - where the filter block adapter is.

Replace it. Interesting to see that the line for a zeus bravo drive system is almost 3x the cost of the regular bravo set-up...

Does anyone have access to a service manual and know what the estimated repair time for replacing this hose?

I just repaired a leak in the same area. I made my wife give up her make-up mirror and used this to see exactly what was leaking. In my case the oil was leaking where the oil filter adapter was connected to the block (part 7). I decided rather than just tighten it, I ordered the rubber seal (8 &10 - although they call it a gasket) and removed everything to inspect it. I started by draining the oil and filter, then removed the lines, then the fitting (9). I ended up buying a socket for part 9 (I had to buy a metric equivalent for 1/2 drive). Replaced the rubber seals, tightened everything up, new filter and oil and no more leaks. Took me a few hours because I cleaned up everything really well. The block has some rust and this is hard to get to - used the mirror and sanded upside down.

Good luck - BTW last year I had replaced that line - purchased it at the dealer.

Mark...when you replace the line last year, did you drain all of your oil? I realiize the filter will have the be removed, otherwise oil will run out the bottom when the fitting is loosened on the hose. I am just wondering if I have to have my oil pan empty.
