After a day of boating, I find about 3 tablespoons of coolant in the tray under the starboard Cummins 450 engine. Happened last 4 times I took boat out. Tried to see where this comming from without success so far. Anyone know of likely places coolant would leak?
My next step will be to line tray with white paper towels to see if I can isolate source a bit. As it can see any coolant on engine itself.

You're on the right track to locate the source, but the blue paper "shop towels" seem to show wet spots a bit better if you have some. When the engine is cold reach around the back side and touch every connection and see if any are wet. Double check all the hose clamps if you haven't already as they usually can be snugged up a little each year. Search out the really hard to get to ones that may have been missed like the coolant return hose at the front end of the HX pipe to the block, it's a 2"+/- 90 degree preformed hose and it's hidden under and behind the alternator. There have been some instances reported here of the banjo fitting at the bottom of the turbo seeping some coolant so take a good look there. Good luck.

Thanks for the detailed responses. Will check out the suggested areas.
