I know some of you have found some of the stuff at Taylor Marine products, but I need a little info.

The 88 Weekender I am working on was FULL of silicone including the weep slots. After several hours of scraping, I've managed to get it all out.
Now the questions.

First: Is the screen supposed to be fixed or sliding?
Does it use any kind of rubber seal? Doesn't look like it but it seem's small for the opening.

Second: Does the sliding plexi use a rubber gasket the whle length of the window?

Third: Is the order of things, from the inside, screen, and then sliding plexi? Is the other way around on most others I've had.

Looking from outside...

So one of you 80's model 300 owners tell me if you dont mind looking, Your sliding plexi side windows are on the outside correct? How far up the channel does the flock go? All the way or part way?
The screen is on the inside, correct? Does it have a rubber gasket it sits on?

I don't have the boat any longer but my recollection is that the screen is on the inside without a gasket, it should slide freely in the track. Look on the lower side of the screen frame, it should have some spring steel that snugs up the fit so it stays in place. The forward plexi window was fixed in place, the rear window slides on the "fuzzy" rubber track liner and would open about two thirds.
