If no one chimes in with a personal recommendation for someone at Madison I'll hit you up for that. I feel it would be better to deal directly with someone at the location who knows or has immediate access to the boat I am interested in. But I'm sure your guy has a guy...

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I on the other hand would highly recommend SkipperBud’s, I’m on my third boat purchased through the Coopersville, MI office and they go way out of their way to please the customer. Granted times have been a little rough on the boating industry and they had to cut back on some of PR, cruses, and parties but they always steped up and fixed the problems with my boats, sometimes even after the warranties expired. If you need a recomedation on one of their salesmen let me know.

I just purchased a 98 290 DA from Madison a few months ago. I dealt with Aaron Orvis and he was a great guy. Really happy with the boat and really pleased with the way I was treated there. I travelled there several times prior to purchase and Aaron more than accommodated me and was very helpful.
 
I just recently purchased a 2006 240 DA from Skipper Buds Madison, also dealing with Aaron. I had a good experience, and Aaron was a knowledgeable salesperson. I'm slipped at this location if you need me to check something out for you. Rich

How long have you been at the Madision Skipper Buds?

Do you know Guy Madision or Bad Influence?
 
I bought my 240SD from Aaron a couple years ago, great experience. I run into him a couple times a year and he always remembers names, boats etc. I'll be looking to him for an upgrade next year

First year at Skipper Buds Madison, first year having a boat! So no, I don't know the folks (yet) that you mentioned.
