The one thing that drives me absolutely NUTS on my 2005 200SP is the ski locker drain. The plug for it is about 1.5-2'' above the floor. Anytime it rains, wash the boat, wet kids running around, the bottom of the locker fills with water. Gets pretty nasty in there pretty quickly. Why on earth Sea Ray would do this is beyond me. Anyone found an easy way to keep it dry or have any ideas on how to get it to drain? Only thing I can come up with is adding some fiberglass to the floor and building it up to the drain. I store the boat on the trailer, jacked up as high as it will go on a concrete block, but even then there is still about a half gallon or so of water that will sit in there.

Put a permanent plug in the existing hole and install another one in a more sensible place.

If it were me, I'd drill a 1/4" hole at the very bottom right below it and call it good. Worst thing you might need to do is clear debris out of it's way occasionally.

my only concern with drilling a hole was water intrusion in places it shouldn't be...if thought this hole for some reason had a tube attached to it that ran back to the bilge area
