Ski locker compartment

I just bought a 2012 260 sun deck. Beautiful boat but I have a question. This compartment is in the bottom of my mid ship ski locker. It fills with water that gets into the boat from rain, wet passengers etc. There is no drain or other way to get the water out. I sucked the water out and I am completely certain there is no drain. Any ideas of its purpose or what is going on. I feel like a factory drain hole was never drilled...
