We have just had the Sirius Weather module added to our C-80 display. A few thuings to note for any one thinking about this investment. Last week we ran with a storm approching. The Weather data was great and we timmed our trip to a tee. The info is accurate and great to watch as a weather buff. We enjoy the fact you can jog to any location in the states and check the weather from waves to sea temp. The animation feature allows you to view the storm building and add storm tracking to see its heading and speed. The down side is it does not show much more than the shore line. I guess what I'm trying to say is it is void of hi ways and cities. It would be nice to use those as reference points. Other than that it has become a great resouce before durring and after out trips.
Hope this helps!

The data is independant of the Mid lake bouys. You can turn on and off features such as wind speed and direction, as well as the weather front seperation lines. The weather radar can have options like storm track showing direction and speed of an approching storm. This can be animated to see the movement for a period of time also. You can turn on symbols that indicate all the Noaa type waether reporting sites for all thier data. I think as far as real time wave hieght your best to click on a reporting site or Bouy. For the most part it is every thing you can get on your computer via web sites just mobile on your boat. We pay 30.00 per month with the sirius radio feature added for six months. I belive they do month to month to.
Once your away from a marina wireless this is a safe bet. I think the XM version looked better with more land based features to reference with. My 2 cents.
