What kind of pressure should I have? It seems weak to me. When I ran it with the hot water tank bypassed the pressure seemed great but now that the hot water tank is in it seems low. It works but it seems low to me. any ideas or is that how it is.. 98 250 sundancer

Then I'd definitely look at your hot water tank! Is the relief valve still open from when they drained it last fall, if it has valves are they open the right way? Are there any leaks that you have noticed? It could be that you are drawing most of your water from the hotwater side and they may not have fully opened the valves on the bypass? Was any work done that might have kinked a hose? And last of all, is the hot water pressure good at ANY locations on the boat?

no leaks, hot water works, no hose that are kinked. the bypass was only for winterization. the hot water tank is fully connected now. any maint or filters to these pumps? it works fine but i thought the pressure should be greater.

There should be a filter right next to the pump. If I recall correctly you have to push together and twist to get it open and there is a screen inside to clean out. Chris

I cleaned the screens and its better but it's alot better with the hot water tank by passed but that makes sense as the system has to pressureize the 6 gallon tank also, i guess
