That's why we moved to GA! been in the 80's and the lake is in the mid to upper 70's! been swimming already. Look on the bright side, it will be 95 and humid in a month there. Enjoy your season, I will miss the Chesapeake Bay.

Brother I'm with 'ya I'm getting really, really tired of this crap. Current forecast doesn't look like its gonna let up anytime soon either.

One thing I promised myself last summer was that I would NEVER say, "Man it's TOO hot!". That's a promise I'll carry through this season as well. The bay is definitely a great place to boat.

Well just so you know,(full disclosure) it's sunny here but 45 this morning UGH!

Good deal! We will be on Clarks Hill for Memorial Day weekend. In-laws are staying at Hickory Knob and we will either stay on the hook or SL Marina. Maybe see you there.

OK, you can blame me. It has rained almost every day since I splashed. Don't know why I was in such a hurry to get her wet????

11 days of rain really sucks.

Mid- to high-80's for the next 10 days with 0% chance of precip and light winds. Time to hit the river. Typical spring weather here.

SloBurn, if I've got you to blame can you please come down and help me catch up on a ton of exterior jobs, including a 4600sqft deck? Please?

Uh... yeah... I stopped by the marina last night on my way home from work thinking I could pull the oil drain hose out of the garboard plug and let it drain over night so I could change it today. I arrived to find a 4" puddle surrounding the entire boat. I only had one pair of shoes with me, so I called it a night. At this rate, its going to be the 4th of July before she's ready.
