Is there a switch for this? The pump is wired hot to the float switch. There is a second wire that has cut off that doesn't conect to anything there also. I'm assuming it gioes to a bypass switch somewhere?

Also, on the bilge breaker panel in the engine compartment, there are 3 breakers for the boat, one of which, is for the shower sump. But I have three in the engine compartment. One in the forward bilge, one in the rear, and one under the generator. Is the one under the genny supposed to be there?

if this is brown wire it could lead to override switch (they were used on some older boats) or to indicator light on dash (system monitor) on some models - light comes on when pump is activated.

Different model, but we're only a few years apart...I have an indicator panel with two lights mounted on the face of the vanity cabinet. Green light "power" always on- shows that there's power to the pump, and red light "On" that indicates when the pump is operating.

There is no switch, as there's no reason not to leave it on at all times.
