Should these anodes be changed?

Fresh water guys always think it's a salt water thing. Sorry not true. Is there any salt in IL?

 

What is weird is the anode with a fin is still there…

 

That looks like a odd drive to me. Not so sure that fin is an anode as we're used to seeing.

 

Looks like an outboard on a sailboat.

 

Salt water had nothing to do w that as poster wrote in picture. That’s galvanic corrosion.

 

Perfectly appropriate for a sailboat.

 

While probably technically true, corrosion cells are much more aggressive in salt water due to its lower resistivity.
