Shot in the dark post. Anyone in Chicago area?

on business up here, And never been to Chicago, plan to see the city/ tourist stuff during Friday, but Friday evening may look for a boat ride tour or something's to cruse the canals.

Any one a local boater to the area interested in showing a Radom stranger some norther night boating? Can bring rum/beer/ fuel money what have you.

Know it's random, but I have met some awesome individuals off forums like off shore only (in my previous power boat days) and the same with car forums in gear head events.

If not no worries. My hotel is in the city center, so can uber/cab anywhere around to meet up or what ever.

If you don't find a boat ride, The Chicago Air and Water Show is this weekend. Go down to Navy Pier and enjoy.

And the architectural boat tours on the river sound corny but are really quite good. Look'em up.

I have heard thats the one to take if I go that route. thanks for the info on the SHow at the Navy peer as well.
