1999 sea ray sundancer Cape Coral Fl. Say this quick. Had 2 dead batteries and charger. Bought 2 new batteries and charger. Installed batteries and charger, charger is had wire from breaker board.

Here we go charger not working. Checked with meter dock power plug, electrical cord to boat all good . Next breaker box meter in box says 110 volts. So I decided to turn everything on clicking all circuit breakers, microwave, refrigerate, plugs, and air all work. So I had no power to direct wire to charger. So I disconnected charger and wired a 3 way plug on to it and plug into outlet and bettery charger and everything workes. Why don't I have power to my direct wire to charger. Help please

Have you swapped out the circuit breaker for the Charger with a known good one? They crap out, rarely, but they do fail.

What does "Say this quick" mean?

Did you turn on the breaker labelled "converter"? In your model year, that is likely what the charger is labelled as. Otherwise, along the line of what Cocktail is saying, check for voltage on both sides of the breaker.

All is new , new batteries and charger 12v pro sport. Everything was working before and then batteries died and then charger would work off and on .I have new caharger plug into outlet on boat and all working well. Everthi g on my circuit board is working except the direct wire that runs from the circuit breaker to the charger no power there. Is there a breaker or switch on my boat I don't know about . 1999 sea ray sundancer.

Did you read my reply?

Everthingelse has a breaker except the battery it just runs of the main breaker switch. When u switch on reverse polarity and meter comes on my is on and says 110 votes

As Cocktail Time said and Lazy agreed to, check the power on both sides of the breaker.

I feel like the guy on stage, tapping the mic, saying "Is this thing on?"! :) Did you read my reply?

I'm not sure what your second sentence is all about. It makes no sense the way it is written.

Don't now what quick means type error I guess. So u are saying unscrew entire brake box and check what there is no breaker for battery

-- Just figured I'd get it out of the way and ask it a third time...

But, are you saying that there is no breaker labelled "converter"?

There is a breaker box with a reverse polarity lite and a meter shore power on everything AC working except power to cord or wire to charger. Microwave, refg, plugs, air con all have a breaker no breaker that saysbattery

Batteries don't have a breaker. They are not a circuit. They supply power to circuits. The switch labeled "Converter" is the breaker for the battery charger. Power enters on one side of the breaker and leaves out the out the other side if the breaker is on. If no power leaving then either the breaker is not on or it is defective. Or the wiring to the charger was not installed correctly.

Meter says 110volts on breaker box

The wiring has to be right had boat for 8 years never had this problem always supplied power to batteries from shore power
