Hi

If I run my generator my refrigerator, micro, battery charger etc. all work. When I plug into shore power those things don not work but I can run my Airconditioner and interior lights. Does any one have a clue to my problem?

Do you have a single 30 AMP shore connection or 2? Some boats have two (two separate circuits). One dedicated to the AC and the other for the rest, for example. Maybe you are only connecting one, or turning the switch only for one?

His boat has 2 30 amp connections.

Try swapping them left for right at the power source. Check all CBs inside the boat and out. Ensure the power is on at the dock (swapping will help here). Dock may be wired incorrectly. Make sure both switches are on on the bottom left of your electrical panel inside the cabin. Make sure the appropriate switches are on on the bottom right of the electrical panel. Most cabin lighting is DC. The A/C is AC. Only one pair of lights over the center of the cabin are AC. Try the stove. The stove and the A/C are on the same 1/2 of the AC system. All other AC systems are on the other side.

Check to make sure you have a good connection on your shore power cord inside your transom locker. You should have a red light on there. Make sure you have 2 green lights on on the lower left side of your interior electrical panel.
