Shore power issue

I recently bought an adapter so I could connect my shore power cord to my house outdoor outlet.
The reverse polarity light on the panel lights up.
What does that mean?

If this is not happening when plugged in anywhere else then more than likely you outlet is just wired incorrectly. Probably the white and black (or Red) are reversed to the side of the outlet they should be on. They sell little test plugs like this one on Amazon to verify.

$8 at Lowes will do the trick and test your GFCI's as well.

I did this with the adapter on the 06 260DA we kept on a trailer at home for 3+ years and never had an issue.
