Shore power cords: Marinco vs Furrion ?

Damn, Mark. That's about 300 pounds of cables and adapters!

Big boats are great, but also come with more stufffffffffffffff...... The heater/ac and water heater are 240v. And on the 3rd marriage I've finally learned a happy wife is a happy life...... (Momma needs her hot showers and warmth or occasional cooling). I have been to 2-3 marinas in the past 4 1/2 years that have a direct connect 240v 50amp hookup for me and so cables, adapters etc......

It is a lot of work to be prepared for all contingencies. MM

I need to replace the 75' 50 amp 240 v cable on my boat. It has a cable master and the boat end is hard wired to the boat. I just need to buy the cable. I can reuse the male end. I've been shopping the boat stores and the best price I can find is about $10.00 a foot (ouch). I would like to replace it with the same white cable. Anyone have any ideas to get this cable cheaper? I'd rather not get the black cable

Also, the reason I need to replace it as it is orginal to the boat and has become so stiff that the cablemaster has a hard time retracting it. Any ideas on this problem?
