Does anyone know if the arch needs to be removed to ship my new 2000 340 sundancer from Knoxville, TN to Harrison twp. MI?

When you hire the transport company they should know the height of the route. When I moved my 340 from NH to NC they left the arch and just hung the radar upside down in it.

Same here, I shipped my 340 from Chicago here to Mac-Ray. I would double check with your shipper, they should know the route and the bridge heights.

Probably not. Anything sticking up over the arch will come down though.

Don't go with the cheapest bid!

I shipped my 330 from SE Washington to Harrison TWP and it did not have to have the arch removed. The radar antenna had to come off, but they duct taped it to the underside of the arch, and the anchor light had to be laid down. Other than that it was good to go.

I've got a hinged arch and they ultimately folded mine down for the drive from Port Clinton, OH to Grand Haven, MI.

I assume it depends a bit on the equipment they use to haul as well? Not all lowboys are created equal?

They left the arch up on my 2000 340 when they shipped it from Nashville to Chicago.
