Hi, I have a 96 Sundancer 250 with a Quicksilver 3000 classic shifter. It needs to be replaced but it's no longer available as far as I can see.

What unit will replace it? This one has trim up down, and trailer button. I dont want to spend 5-6 hundred. Just something comparable.

I plan on swapping cables too.

As long as you have room you can use any make or model. Mine was a lot more than $600 but the process is the same. Find the unit you think you might like. Get the measurements from the manufacturer along with a mounting template. Dont order cables until you have the shifter installed. Then take measurements according to the new installation. I went to separate throttle and shift. A huge improvement over the single lever. Here are the before and after photos IMG_5169.jpg IMG_5705.jpg
