Hello everone again, just brought the boat back home, had the transom done, all new bellows, and seals. Went out on the lake nad after about 2 hours there was adout a gallon of water in the boat.....When i took the boat back they pulled the drive off and said my shift seal was bad and thats where the water was comming from. Would it leak that much water???? Shouldent they of changed that when they did all new seals and bellows?????

Shift cable bellows? If so, definitely should have been done in my opinion.

....or they could have been talikng about the swivel shaft and seal. Get out your wallet.

The shift shaft is normaly in water to begin with. That wouldn't leak into the boat even if there missing. Shift and u joint bellows, trim hose plate gskt, trim sending wires seal and water pickup tube will leak water into the boat. Along with a outer transom plate that isn't sealed properly. And the seal for the exhaust pipe.
