Sherwood e 35 replacements

Is there a better replacement out there than the e35. I am Probably going to just go with new pump assys since mine are pretty worn.

I have the same ones and really like them.

The outer end plates can be lapped if you have scoring. I did mine 2 years ago.

I do hate the carbon bushings in those end plates though. Too fragile and too expensive. I did find nylon/bronze aftermarket bushings that I plan to put in with the next impeller change.

What's prompting this? Your boat doesn't run hot as far as I know.

I ended up finding a used back plate for the one. I replaced both shafts and seals. Took the one cover to the belt sander and it cleaned up.The bearing on my starboard side was noisy and it was bad. They are ready to be installed. The impellers were worn from and I didn't know the age of any of it. The silt from the canal made a mess.
