- Will get back to you on this one!
I have a 1981 245 SRV with flybridge and did the following:
1 x around using 1000 grit wet sand, then
2x around using rubbing compound (pretty sure it was mcguires), I put it in a mustard container 3/4 rubbing compound 1/4 water, shook it pretty well, then
2 x around G3 - great stuff
replace the decals, then
wax
Check the before and after. With the after you will be able to see images shining off the hull it is amazing. The oldies are goodies.
Unfortunately, I did not make to the 2nd round of G3 and broke my humerous. So now I am going to do a time share with friends, they will lend the muslces and I will lend them the boat to enjoy.
It sure does take a lot of elbow grease but being and girl I was bound and determined to do it - didn't want to show the other boating men that I was a wimp. Until the breakage happened. One more surgery and maybe next year I will be good to go!!
Good luck to you.
