On other forums I'm on, once I've logged in, I'm in until I log out. On this one, it seems like I get logged out after not-that-many minutes of non-use (and since I read more than write, this happens frequently...) What I wind up doing, then, is just looking at and refreshing the posts from the last 24hr period, without ever signing back in (unless I need to post something). Any chance this could be changed so that users are logged in until they log out?

Isn't that already an option at sign in ( to have the system automatically log you in)?

I never have to sign back in no matter how many times I use the board.

Probably, but I'm not a big fan of auto-logons, or auto-logoffs for that matter, as you can tell :smt001 . I prefer the do-it-yourself method...

If you clear your cookies from time to time you will get logged off. You might want to do that and re-log on and see if that does not fix it.

I clear cookies all the time but still get logged out. I'll just check the box for auto-logon. Thanks all.

That what I am saying, when you "Do" clear the cookies, it logs you off. The server no longer remembers who you are.

I have the same issue as Kilroy. I get logged off fairly quickly, but can't tell you if it is 30 min or an hour. I prefer to log in manually. I don't do anything with cookies, so I don't think it has anything to do with them.

I thought I read before that it depended on whether you logged in via clubsearay or byowneryachts.

It is aggravating to keep getting logged off all the time.
