Selling price for '07 290, buying price for '06-'07 340?

Dang! wait. . .this thread is only four days old! Someone bought it off of you in four days? At your price? Wow.

Way cool.

I was getting ready to post something long. . but now the point is moot. Good luck with your boat! I do agree that if you go mostly to Tices. . .MM Brick is the wrong place to be. From there, I would be tempted to go to tices on the outside. . . .that long, long no wake trip through the canal down through Mantaloking would kill me if I was doing it week after week.

Buyer here. After many many emails and phone discussions with biggerboatitis we have a deal in place that is only requiring signatures on Monday. We don't anticipate any glitches and I plan to fly to NJ next week.

Biggerboatitis posted this message at the right time because for the last 2 months I have been looking at the 290's from coast to coast. His was one of the ones in my saved folder. I literally saw this original post the day I started making actual calls and kicking offers. At the end of the day, weeding out the broker apparently worked for both of us.

I can honestly say that it seems we will both walk away happy.

Good luck to both of you! This is awesome.

I did a Full Northeast Yachtworld search to find my 280SS four doors down the street. No kidding. Never knew it was for sale until I did the internet search.

Anyone in the Jersey area selling a 320 or 340?

YES!!! Didn't even get a chance to place an ad (which when I saw CSR had them, I immediately thought I would place one). Just a chance inquiry from another forum member!

Bob

There was a little help in getting that forum member hooked up with you for the sale of the 290.

Glad it all worked out well for both of you.

NADA serves only one purpose and it is what the banks use in a valuation of a vessel in consideration. This is in banking industry terms only and rarely reflects the true current market value of any boat. NADA is a best guess when scenario when banks are the only means of evaluation. NADA is not web based in updates and cannot accurately reflect changes in market conditions or economic factors.
