That does make me feel better. But I know that you never get what you really want when you sell, but I have always banked on the 6.2 getting a better return when I do sell.

If it's not asking too much...could you let me know what 2000-2003 410DA with Diesels and 2002-2003 380DA's with gas have SOLD for....

That is true, but if you MS IE direct bookmark a boat that is "Pending" and come back to it (via bookmark only) when it is sold, you can go to the YW details page of that boat and see the selling price in the header if it is not market confidential. I can still link to the my 340 even thought he deal closed in June and it shows listing and selling price.
 
I know this might seem kinda shoddy, but have you thought of just blindly running an add for what you would like to get out of it and see if some sucker buys it? :grin: I know, that is not right, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right...

My boat might be older, but it cruises just nice, I can sleep on it if I have/want to, I can tow a skier when I want to, I can consume alcohol on it when I want to and it's paid for.

To be honest with you, I would love to trade up to a bigger boat, but I know I am in no situation to do so right now. Maybe in a few summers I will be able to ~ We'll see. Sometimes ya just have to hold out, know what I mean?

I would be happy to post the pages for you. only problem i have is it would come up with my brokerage name,address and phone number. i won't do that on club searay. i am a 1948 model and not to savey on the computer. if there is a way to get your email i will be happy send you the sold boats section on the boats you requested. if not i will post your requested info on sunday am. (have to go out with the wife tonight to one of her girly functions) :grin:

yacht worlds sold boats.com says there were no 38 dancers sold with diesels from 1/06 to 10/06 in the years you requested. i will give you the ones that sold with gas engines. i also use A.B.O.S. blue book. so i will list the values from that.

38 dancer w/gas engines
2002 169k to 219k
2003 185k to 191k
2004 219k to 245k

A.B.O.S. blue book value. 38 dancer, diesels & standard equipment
2002 low wholesale 214k high wholesale 234k retail 262k
2003 low wholesale 227k high wholesale 245k retail 274k
2004 low wholesale 250k high wholesale 267k retail 299k

that should cover all your bases
 
Thank you Thomas ! I appreciate it. Surprised no 380 diesels sold. There are a few on the market. The 380 with diesels rocks! It's quick and nimble, also much more economic that the gas version but buyers seem to be not yet likely to ante up for the diesels it seems.
Your price range certainly confirmed my feelings. The BB value on teh diesels seems to be in line with the asking prices.

Just amazes me no diesels moved. That might be a bargaining chip :wink:

I see about twenty 37 dancers for sale on yacht world. Years range from 1995 to 1998. There are none for sale on the years you requested :huh:

Thomas I was looking into 38 footers ... 380 dancer, not the 370. The 380 started in 1999 as you know ...

i see one 38 dancer w/diesels between 2002 and 2004.
A 2004 sold for 265k in CA. listed at 267k
 
Sounds like a nice upgrade either way. This is the perfect time of year to begin the talks with your Dealer/broker too and see how hungry they may be :smt021
