I was wondering who has installed Bennett SLTs on thier boats? I have a 230, and am wondering how useful these are - in practicality? Looking for some real world perspective from folks. Thanks!

- 2X 454 carbs w/ vDrives
No personal experince, but I would think with a 230 sized boat they would not be very effective. Also, because they are fully down when you are not running, they would make backing the boat more difficult. Single I/Os are hard enough to back up for docking without adding two drags.
Real hydraulic or electric tabs would be much better. Bennett makes an auto tab system that works with their hydraulic systems and it is pretty good. I have it on my 330.
