Seen The Sports Illustrated Cover? Did They Go Too Far?

I guess, I was more concerned with what she was wearing more than her parents were.
If that makes me a pervert in yours eyes, So be it. :smt021

I wouldn't complain if she was wearing that on my pulpit. FO SHO!

Wayne, it's an old joke. I was not calling you a perv.

As a general philosophy, I figure if I am something, I ought to own it. You will cause yourself a lot of stress and anger trying to deny your nature. So, after checking the definition on Google and evaluating the puritan streak of false modesty outside of California, I am afraid I might be a "pervert". At least in a Jeff Foxworthy "you might be a redneck if.." sort of way. I have also been cursed with a personal sense of right and wrong, and an understanding of my responsibilities as part of a "civilization". Not to say that I am by any means "civilized". Just that tweens cavorting scantily clad on a boat or beach have nothing to fear from me, including judgment. I have a keen ability to appreciate the world around me and those things, both good and beautiful, that I am grateful to have experienced. In this light Hannah Davis is a work of art. Plus, she seems to be a very nice person. I do not feel the need to criticize, or second guess, her goals or choices. Apparently her family is supportive of her career in modeling and she was delighted with her cover shot as I am. SI has been instrumental in the careers of many multi-million dollar celebrities, and has been doing these issues since the '60's. Here in California we have had "string Bikini's" since I was a teenager. When I was 14-15 my family spent summers in Santa Cruz, and I was as awkward and gawking as any other teenage boy. Never thought to judge, or scold, anybody. With the possible exception that there are girls in IMHO that should really avoid string bikini's. And Spandex. And most forms of nudity outside their homes. Creatures that are just better to cuddle in the dark. As I am a dirty old 'married' man now, I am only allowed to 'have and hold' one woman. Oh, I can appreciate Hannah Davis to be sure, but if I was to have or hold her... well, I would have to sleep at some point:smt021

The only thing I hate seeing at the beach is...

14-15-16-17 year old girls trying to show off their beavers.

I asked this very young teen, why are you wearing that bottom :smt017.

I can see what you have very clearly. :wow:

Try going to some beaches in the Mediterranean and watching some of the young Scandinavians, Norwegians and others strutting around completely nude? It will answer the question about "natural blonde." and no you are not a pervert, if they show it I look. But, remember "look but do not touch!"

And for those of you who do not know, many beaches on the Med are not like what you think of here or the Caribbean. Many are only small open outcroppings and they may have sand and they may not. Many are rocky.

Regarding the model, I have seen somewhere that she enjoys classical novels, enjoys solitary walks through art museums, and afternoons with a cup of tea in quiet solitary introspection.

Seems pretty wholesome to me....

Ok i read about the girl on msn the other day,she is the first plus sized model to be on the cover,at 6'2" and a size 12 she will kick your a$$ if she wants to.Which may or not be ....exciting ?

I've seen much more at our sandbar on Greenwood Lake. Maybe if I saw one of my daughters dressed like this I'd be upset...?
