hehe...In any event, not unusual. The economy sucks for some people out there, and buying a new boat isnt a top priority, especially going into the winter. Toys are the first to lose out on sales during a "poor" economy.
Frankly, I dont believe it for a minute. The press is a powerful tool. Most of my clients have increased budgets and have spent the same or more this year as a rule.

I know the math is hard, but after you make payments, cover slip fees, insurance, and rountine maintenance, fuel is not the biggest bill.
As to those rotten truly wealthy types, pretty sure that Hillary (endorsed by AL Quaeda!) has a plan for thinning the ranks of the successful. I am sure the campaign has openings for neighborhood gauleiters for those inclined.
Gas hogs? D-I-E-S-E-L, baby, and a lot of it. SInce the world is going to end with crude at $97 a barrel, I guess I will keep on running the Thundering Cathedrals of American Made Torque (c) until the gummint comes and takes my big diesel dancer away. sigh.

I agree with the big boys, Gas and Deisel is not the biggest exspense, this is why I pull mine with a Deisel to get it to the big ponds and then we fire the the gas guzzling, smoke belching, water Blistering american made inferno's from hell............and We keep loving every minute of it too.
