Seaching the Forums

Maybe it is just me... but.. I have a difficult time searching the forums. The 'normal' search strings do not seem to work. Like if I want an exact set of words, you enclose them in quotes and you should only get back something that has that exact set of words. That does not seem to work. Any tip / tricks I am missing?

I agree there are some flaws. Here are some tips:

If you know who said something you can search by user. If you are looking for a particular phrase only pick one word and search that (try and pick out the unusual word). Also it usually helps to change the search feature to just the topic however if the person who started to posting did so by using the topic Help...problems, good luck finding it.
