SeaCast product for Transom repairs?

I just found out about this product. I was looking at what it would take
to convert my 1977 24' WE from a OMC 235 Electric stringer to a
Mercruiser Alpha. Part of the conversion is to go from a BIG hole in
the transom to a small hole in the transom.
This SeaCast product seems to be one way to do it.

Has anyone out there used it on a SeaRay?

I used it a few years ago on a 19' Regal. It's fantastic. I plan to use it on my SRV240 this winter.
