Sea Ray vs Regal Boats

I am not brand loyal, I would buy based on the deal. The brands I would look at are:

Sea Ray
Crownline
Regal
Chapperal
Larson
Monterray

And possibly others.

The brands I would not consider are Bayliner and Maxum.

Pretty close to my brand selection for a small to midsize boat. I'd probably replace Larson with Four Winns though.

Formula PC's are awesome. For me, Sea Ray & Formula are tied as my favorite cruisers. Formula's have fantastic styling & quality.

Larson? Why not Rinker, Maxum and Bayliner, too?

Cruisers Yachts probably belongs in that list, though I don't care for their hull styling. Formula does a nice exterior, but their cabins are cold and uninviting. Still, I spec'ed out a 40PC some years ago at the boat show. Scott Porter even agreed to the custom color scheme my wife wanted, but I couldn't get past that gimmicky "Formula Advantage" shell game.

there are 2 new Regal 40' sedans in my marina. both diesel. Both list to starboard so bad they look like there missing an engine. Owners can't seem to figure out why. It makes me wonder does Regal tank test their boats.
