Sea Ray Party on St Lawrence River

Did anyone here about a big party for Sea Ray boats planed for July 19, 2008 at the Wellesley Island State Park Marina in NY. I saw some mention of it on a marina’s web site. It’s called the 2008 Aquapalooza in the 1000 Islands. The plan is to anchor out and they will pick you up with a shuttle boat and bring you to shore.

Looks like this party takes place at more then one location. Anyone know more about it.

Sea Ray has been doing this for several years...

1. a. A social gathering by Sea Ray especially for selling pleasure boats: a drunk cocktail party for strangers with more money than brains.
b. A group of people who have gathered to participate in a drinking boating activity. See Synonyms at bored2.

2. An established marketing group organized to promote and support Sea Ray and promise t-shirts (and not deliver them) to people who have no life.

3. slang. Boating "losers" hence the term "looza": "Look at those aquapaloozas sitting on the dock and using their iPhones"
