Hi looking for any info regarding this boat listed as a 280 cabin cruiser before I go try to book a viewing and negotiate.
Is it more likely a 300SRVsport bridge?did they make a 280SRV Sport bridge? It is twin screw inboard . The ask on it is 7500 which is close to what I would get for my 89 268Da with s 7.4 Bravo drive, Anything i would lose, what would i gain?

You asked What would I gain? What would I lose?

You would lose a boat you can trailer and is economical to operate with a resale market - you would gain a boat that is slower and less efficient but has way more room and can be left in the water without fear of corrosion or added maintenance

We owned a 1979 SR. I'm pretty sure 30 feet was about as big as they got then. The pic is a 30 footer. There may have been a 36 or 37 foot T top in that era although maybe a year or two later.

I am at hindson tomorrow. I’ll take a look. (Don’t worry I am not shopping. )
Not at all worried with the boat you have I'm sure you wouldn't be shopping this one, I have reservations as well given mine is where i want it mechanically and maintenance wise. What time were you thinking ? I might take a cruise with the boys today to get some boat time in . I'll likely be going past about 930 on my bike. I opted for a private dock this year just south of harbor west. Hindsons was good to us but saving 2500 for the season is kind on my gas account.
