I am in this issue(just received in the mail today)....don't make too much fun of me. Yes we cleaned up the boat and stored all of the junk.

Nevermind, found it. I skimmed the pics but didn't have time to read it. Congrats on your 15 minutes of fame!

Still have not seen mine. I seem to receive the magazine on an irregular schedule.

Scan the page, pic, or article about you and let us bask in your glorious presence!

In the background you hear "we're not worthy, we're not worthy" chanting! lol

And you didn't make sure that Kurt and I got in there with you?:smt009 Shameful.

Congratulations, I think. I haven't gotten the magazine yet so I don't know how to respond.

Very cool....congrats! Just curious about how someone gets to be featured in the magazine....they contact you? You contact them? I've wondered how they find people to write about.
.

Yep, I have a similar probem with the Chicago chef with two hot friends that "he enjoys spending time with", I bet.

The photographer, is an older brother of a friend I have had since high school. Dean is a free lance photographer and does shoots for alot of magazines. So when he found out I had a Sea Ray, he wanted to take the photos...he has done a lot of pics for Sea Ray Living. Before, he did the pics, he checked with the publisher to make sure they would use them.

I think I invited you....but you were already winterized.:grin:

Actually, we took the pics over a year ago.

Jeff, congratulations!

You have a wonderful family. Very nice!

I read the article. Great job on that too. Spending time as a family doing stuff, that’s what it’s all about.

Apparently laws very area by area. Per the article, it sounds like you need to be 14 + take the boaters safety class to operate a PWC in your area. By us its 12 + the class and our oldest is now 13. When she was 11 ½ we took the class together. I am old enough to be exempt from the class per the laws in our area however I wanted to work thru the book with her then continue to reinforce the education on the water. It’s worked out perfect for us and she loves the action of our 3 person older, lower horse power Sea Doo we purchased for a fun play thing. Its a good PWC that max speed is about 40 MPH. I hope to do the same thing with the other kids. I wonder if the instructor will recognize me, LOL.

I am curious about that photo on the top of page 72 with the three girls on the back, you at the helm taken from the port part of the bow. Looks like you are plowing along.

How did they get that picture?

I’m hoping you are going to tell me the camera was mounted to the bow rail via an articulating rod secured with a clamp and the photographer snapped the photo via a remote from the cabin.

I’m hoping you don’t tell me you were boating with the photographer standing on the bow with one foot balancing on the bow rail and the other foot on the deck as they stood holding onto the camera taking the shots as you were going.

Very nice article, boat, photos and family. Thank you for sharing with us.

You know....that SRL celebrity status will add value to your boat

Very nice article, the photographer though needed to adjust his camera angle on pg 69 & 70, your antennae looks like it is at an angle.

We got ours today and read the article. It is very nicely done! Congrats to you and your family ~ a nice thing to save in your scrapbook for memories! You have a lovely family too!
Again, congrats!

The first one. These are all our friends, though we didn't know them very well back then:
